Our Fab Nikki (Fashion Journalist Contributor) attended the Red Carpet Concierge Media Event this past Monday 9/29. The Red Carpet Concierge Media Event is the Pre-Party before the MAJOR event; the Awards ceremony taking place this Sunday 9/25~!!! This is what our fashionista had to say.....

Javier Enriquez........ Well-known Chicago Photographer and Artist. He has been around for 12 years now and going strong. Currently he is working on an art collection based on Mayan history and beliefs.


Marco Foster.........He is one of Chicago's well-known event planners and socialite! He is the founder of Chicago Models and a top contributor to " One Hope" charity foundation and is one of the award recipients at the Red Carpet Concierge fashion show.

Chakib & Sandra Doghmi........of course we are featuring these two!!!! These two are the founders and Presidents of "Red Carpet Concierge." Sandra has worked on project such as helping with the OSCARS, as well as being a mentor to students. Their commitment to the Chicago community is amazing plus they honor guests whom have influences the Chicago Fashion Industry in the Red Carpet Concierge Business and Fashion Award.

Upcoming Events that Showcase Chicago Fashion........A MUST GO!!!

Yes, I know it is the month of September/October that we are all bombarded with fashion events in this city.....I am going to showcase 2 of the events that will exhibit great upcoming Chicago Designers that will soon be household names nation and worldwide.

First Event: Outstanding Business and Fashion Awards, presented by The Red Carpet Concierge of Chicago. Great designers such as Borris Powell (winner of the Oscar Challenge) are going to showcase their designs in this award ceremony/fashion show. Borris along with other designers are also going to receive awards for their outstanding contributions to Fashion.

Second Event: La Catrina Fashion Show: Culture meets Couture. This show will be featuring 3 Mexican American fashion designers from Horacio Nieto (whom I am a huge fan off), Elda De La Rosa, and Gary Gonzalez.

Event Info: Friday September 30th from 6-10pm; the event will take place at the National Museum of Mexican Art, 1852 W. 19th Street, Chicago. You can get tickets below.
